This paper examines the proposed relationship between maintenance quality, compliance and equipment performance in manufacturing organizations. The supplied document reports survey results from 400 respondents and a 53-item instrument, with an overall Cronbach’s alpha of .767. Respondents’ profiles and selected Likertscale results indicate generally favourable perceptions of several quality-management practices in textile/manufacturing SMEs. However, the file’s stated title, objectives and hypotheses refer to composite maintenance quality and compliance, while most reported questionnaire items measure broader qualitymanagement practices, operational excellence and performance effectiveness. No correlation, regression or structural-model results directly testing H1 and H2 are provided. Consequently, the available evidence supports a descriptive assessment, but does not establish the hypothesised effects. The paper identifies the evidence available and the analysis required for conclusive hypothesis testing.
